Student licence
A free Meco licence for students
I'm Dannie, and I make Meco on my own. If you're a student, you can have the full Meco bundle, the same one people buy on this site, free for 12 months for your own study. Design rocket engines, test fire them, and see why they work.
You download a signed Windows or macOS installer from your account on this site. In the last 30 days of your 12 months, apply again to renew. If you don't, the licence ends and nothing is charged.
Who can apply
Anyone studying right now, with a current student ID that shows your name and your institution. The licence is yours, for your coursework and your own projects.
What happens next
I'll email you a link to confirm your address. Open it within 48 hours, or the application and your ID are deleted.
Your ID is encrypted as it arrives, only I can open it, and I delete it once I've decided.
Then I review each application myself, usually within a few days. You'll get an email either way, and if it's a yes, it tells you how to sign in and download.
