Meco Rocket Simulator

Terms of Sale

These terms cover a purchase made on this site. A copy bought on Steam is covered by Steam's terms instead.

What you are buying

A licence to run Meco Rocket Simulator, the base game and the Pro DLC together: the same build the Steam store sells, for your own use. Downloads are offered for Windows, macOS and Linux.

This is not a Steam key, and it does not appear in a Steam library. It runs from the download on your account page. Once installed, Meco does not sign in or check a licence to run, so keep a copy of the installer.

The licence belongs to you, not to a machine or a file. Install it on the machines you use. Do not sell it on, share it out, or publish the files.

One licence belongs to one email address, and that address is the account it lives in. A purchase made with a different address is a different account.

Meco is in Early Access. It is a build in progress, and what it does today is what you are buying. Updates arrive when they arrive, and nothing here promises a feature by a date.

Who sells it

Payments are processed by Stripe. Onelink, Stripe's merchant of record (the company that legally sells to you and issues the receipt, on Stripe's platform), is the seller for this sale.

So the receipt, the invoice and the refund come from Onelink, and Loren Aerospace Ltd is the company behind Meco and behind the licence. Onelink handles tax and payment questions; everything about the build, the download and the licence comes to me.

Price and currency

The list price is set in US dollars. Onelink presents it in your own currency at checkout, at its own rate, and your card is charged the amount the checkout page showed you. Tax is added where it applies, and the checkout page states it before you pay.

Your order records what you actually paid and in which currency. That is the figure the confirmation email carries and the figure any refund is measured against.

Getting the build

Sign in at your account page and the download is there. The same page holds it for the next time, on any machine you sign in on.

Refunds

Ask and you get your money back, within 14 days of buying, as long as you have not used Meco beyond trying it out. A reservation fee is refunded until the date in its receipt. Onelink's own cooling-off and 60-day rules can return your money after the 14 days have passed.

The detail, and how to ask, is on the refunds page.

Your account

The account is made by the purchase. It holds your email address, your licence and the download.

Sign in with a password, with Google or with Apple. A one-time sign-in link by email is the way back in when a password is forgotten. Keep the address current, because it is the only route back to a purchase.

Records, and how long they are kept

An order and a refund record are kept for six years after the end of the tax year they fall in. Company and tax law requires that, so those records survive a request to delete everything else. The privacy policy says what is held, on what legal basis, and how to ask for erasure.

If something goes wrong

Email admin@mecorocketsimulator.com. Loren Aerospace is one person, so that address reaches the person who builds Meco and runs this store. To move a licence to a new address, email me the receipt: the old address's entitlement is revoked and the new one granted. Nothing here affects the rights you have under consumer law, which stand whatever a term on this page says.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you buy as a consumer somewhere else, the protections of your own country still apply to you.

The company

Loren Aerospace Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14563299. Registered office: 71 to 75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Meco Rocket Simulator is a trading name of Loren Aerospace Ltd.
